The Future in Marketing and POS


The future in marketing, the thought alone sends my brain into a spiral of excitement of holographic images brand recognition, shop eye scanners. Its ridicules really thinking about the technology thats around today paying with the simple touch of a card. or PING, PAYPALL , you have paid. Think about finger print payments and flying adverts.
Take Guinness for example.. started so long ago when advertising was the bare minimal poster.   Moving on to television, supporting and sponsoring rugby all of this is valid marketing and we all know a Guinness advert when we see one but take the minority report staring Tom Cruise, directors and writers worked with future fashion marketing forecasters to help this film is a great example of where technology will be in 10 years time. With flying holograms, POS and visual merchandising its taken into tv screens and pixilating models walking in the clothes insead of static mannequins such a high end level of merchandising. Personally i cant wait for this. How exciting will it be walking into a shopping centre and holograpic signs and adverts are infront of you instead of annoying promotional reps shoving flyers in your face constantly.
